Ubuntu is a collective of Black Trans, Non-binary and Gender Diverse people devoted to the prosperity of the Black Trans, Non-Binary, Afro-2Spirit and Gender Diverse community.

Individuality, community, integrity, continuous learning, and Black Joy.
INDIVIDUALITY.
Accepting that we are all as unique as our fingerprints, is a significant part of counteracting the one size fits all society created by the oppressive colonial regime. In addition to creating understanding, acknowledging and respecting individuality creates opportunities to merge our unique strengths to produce a healthy and wealthy symbiotic ecosystem.
COMMUNITY.
In every sense of the word Ubuntu, the name of the collective is the nature of our operations. “I am, because you are”. Strengthening the community with humanity and compassion for each other.
CONTINUOUS
LEARNING.

In itself holds resistance and affirmation of our humanity. With all the heavy lifting being done and still needs to be done, gathering to Play, party and celebrate our identity, individuality, cultures and community creates balance.
